Sometimes we get all nostalgic for the "good old days" of video game consoles, when they came prepackaged with two joysticks (implying interaction with other humans) and required some pretty intense suspension of disbelief.
This reminds us most of the trench run in the old Star Wars arcade machine and has colors reminiscent of the intro to ReBoot: "I come from the net." It's got a little of Battlezone in it, too, and a bit of Tempest. But this isn't from any of those. Instead of retro-futurism (which we also love), this is future-retroism, imagined recently by Harry Magzul for a non-existent 1985 Atari marketing campaign. And we pretty much love it.
