Adulting is the Ultimate Hard Mode

  • Do grownup things to score Grownup Points
  • Or use the magical Unipegasaurus cards to bend reality
  • For 2-4 players, ages 13 and up

Are you over the age of 18, 25, or even (gasp!) 30, and you still feel like you're faking this entire "adult" thing? Don't worry, we're right there with you. When we were kids, we just wanted to be all grown up... and now that we are, we'd really rather just go back to playing games, ya know? Games like Pretending to Grownup - the game that recognizes how real our struggle is.

With artwork by Megan McKay of the webcomic "Doodle for Food" and game design by Jason Anarchy, Pretending to Grownup features over 100 unique cards depicting common grownup situations, such as: "Do your own taxes," "Finish a thing you started," "Binge watch," "Eat kale," and "Call in sick." With the use of the only three tools at a grownup's disposal (time, money, and energy), you'll compete to see who can score the most "Grownup Points." Or, you can use the magical Unipegasaurus cards to bend the very rules of being a grownup by using that last bastion of childhood you're still clinging to: your imagination.

But wait, there's more! This includes a 32-card bonus deck featuring guest illustrations from some of the Internet's best webcomics:
