No need to take the Grappler feat for this pin

  • Stickback pin with 2 rubber stoppers
  • d20 spins to point to a number on the outer edge
  • A ThinkGeek creation & exclusive

The whole job of the game master in a roleplaying game is to spin a tale that engages the players. Something that makes them want to be a part of the world and play a role in that themselves. There's dice and math and stats and whatnot, but at the end of the day it's all about spinning the story in which you participate.

Here's a new spin on the d20: a Critical Hit Spinning D20 Enamel Pin. It's a two part pin; the d20 spins to point to a number on the outer edge. It was forged right here at GeekLabs (well, the idea for it was forged here, the actual metal farther away). And since we didn't get this product with any instructions, we're going to house rule that the arrow at the top of the 20 (between the 18 and the 4) is what the spinner has landed on. That seems plausible, right? All in favor say aye. All opposed? Then the ayes have it. (Much like a Beholder.)

You already know this, but we have to say it: you can only use this if your GM says you can. In addition since the numbers are in sequential order, we recommend that you either use this as a counter or house rule the same requirement as the Price Is Right Showcase Showdown (the wheel must make one full revolution before coming to a stop).
