The best offense...

  • "Ancient-style" leather cuirass can protect your torso
  • Perfect for those shaped like football players
  • Wear with a dark red shirt for maximum effect

Oh, Hollywood, you so crazy. You've told us for years that the ancient Greeks and Romans wore leather armor, and we believed you. It looks so good, doesn't it? And it makes sense. You make tasty feta cheese from goats. Then you tan their hides to make leather armor. But no. Linothorax, yes. Lorica segmentata, hamata, and squamata, totally. Leather armor? Unfortunately, probably not so much.

But don't let that stop you, because this is exactly what your standard-issue human thinks ancient Greek and Roman armor looked like. And just in case, this "ancient-style" leather cuirass can protect your torso from period experts wielding historically-accurate weapons. It's going to fit best if you're barrel-chested. If you look like a football player, this leather armor has your name all over it. Not literally, of course. That would be creepy.
