Behind the iTunes
Want to know how to open a DMG file on Windows? It's tricky.
Episode Summary: A look at one of Mac music's most successful pioneer groups. They were just three kids from Cupertino, CA who wanted to rock the garage and ended up rocking the world with Garage Band. They were the first Mac group to earn a plastic record...and then go translucent plastic... and then go aluminum! Yet, they would later be left behind by the new groups they inspired. In 2007, the group made a stunning comeback, but as they prepared for their year-2010 album release, internal conflicts nearly drove them apart. Boss Run (Steve Jobs), DMG (Steve Wozniak) and Jam Master Wayne (Ronald Wayne) discuss growing up in Cupertino; how Run's sister, Mona Simpson, helped them land their first record deal; DMG's turn to freemasonry to cure his stage fright; and the world-changing allegations against them. Currently, Run-DMG are trying to deal with their differences, as DMG moves into another musical direction that conflicts with the group's original sound. Includes interviews with the group's family, LL Alt-J, Mac D, DJ IIe, Russell "Firewire" Simmons, and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit).
