What's a door without a key?

  • Helps to open secret backdoors
  • Made from molds from movie prop department
  • Comes with display stand

Thorin Oakenshield was a lucky duck to have come into possession of a secret key to the backdoor entrance to Lonely Mountain and the Dwarf kingdom. Passed down from his grandfather Thror, along with a treasure map, the Key to Erebor was, in fact, the key to their quest. Finding the door is nothing if you can't get through it. The only catch? Thorin had to take a Hobbit with him on his quest in order to acquire the key from Gandalf.

Artists from the 3 Foot 7 Art Department in Wellington, New Zealand have created a beautiful, large, and heavy replica of the Key to Erebor for the movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The prop replica is made from the mold used on the film and comes with a stand for displaying the piece... at least until you go on your own unexpected journey.
