Movies R Fun Book
A Collection of Cinematic Classics for the Pre-(Film) School Cinephile
- A parody of children's books featuring scenes from grown-up movies.
- Alien, Rosemary's Baby, Basic Instinct, and more!
- You'll want to read this to your kids, but you probably shouldn't.
Many kids (sadly) think reading sucks. It's like they think their eyes will burst or burn or back into their skulls or something. Well, it's time to get them reading early, while using the thing they love most: movies! And have we got the book to woo new readers with: Movies R Fun.
Seriously, though, this book is NOT for kids. It's in the style of those golden books from our golden years of childhood-dom. Everything, from the colors to the illustrations to the fake (we hope) other titles available on the inside back cover, is done to perfection. But of course it is, since this is the brainchild of Pixar writer and artist Josh Cooley. In Movies R Fun, you'll get one page kiddie versions of so many inappropriate-for-the-young movies, such as Alien, Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, The Big Lebowski, and a bunch of loads more! Movies R Fun has a motto: Lights! Camera! Literacy!!
