The Chuck Norris of numbers!
We'd like to see a numbers geek-off between Sheldon and a rabid fan of Douglas Adams. We'd even suggest Stuart or Kripke as the rabid fan. Get on it, Big Bang Theory writers.
Everybody has a favorite number. Most of us, however, don't actually have reasoning behind our favorite number. Or if we do, the extent of it is something like, "It's a prime number." Or "It's the year I was born." Or "It's the answer to life, the universe, and everything."
Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, on the other hand, has multifarious reasons why 73 is his favorite number. Wait. Not his favorite. The best.
The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th, and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.
