Defending the realm of Eternia and the secrets of Castle Grayskull is demanding to say the least. Each of our heroes has an endless stream of foes with whom they must do battle, but what of their families? Surely Teela has a few kids back in the nest, Beastman has a cave with a Beastwife and cubs waiting, even Skeletor has to have some little hellions.
Night and day, they defend, scheme, plot, and fight for Eternia as their children and spouses try and remember what their faces look like. He-Man knew He-Boy needed his father, so he had the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull craft an enchanted doll that would love his son, and all the sons and daughters of those fighting for (and even against) Eternia. This way, each of their offspring would never know of the true troubles that their parents fought. All they had to do was be little heroes at home and snuggle and squish their parents until all the sadness went away.
