Wanted... dead or alive!

  • Molded mug features Schrödinger's Cat alive on one side and dead on the other
  • Dishwasher and microwave safe
  • A ThinkGeek creation and exclusive!

In 1935, Erwin Schrödinger made a pot of tea. But he couldn't just make a regular pot like anyone else. Oh no. He made his inside a sealed box. Also inside the box was a tiny bit of radioactive stuff, a Geiger counter, and some poison. Was the tea ever made? Alas, the box could never be opened. You see, he had both tea and no tea. To celebrate this day (but with a cat), we present to you the Schrödinger's Cat Mug!

The Schrödinger's Cat Mug features two molded cats. One is alive, and one was alive. If you hold the Schrödinger's Cat Mug in your right hand, the alive cat will be facing you and the dead cat will be facing everyone else. However, if you hold the Schrödinger's Cat Mug in your left hand, the dead cat will be facing you and the alive cat will be facing everyone else. Both sets of observers are seeing different results. This proves Erwin's lesser theory about caffeine entanglement! The Schrödinger's Cat Mug - hydrogen cyanide not included.
