One of the things that drives us bonkers on Pinterest is when folks share pictures with quotes on them which are attributed to the wrong person. Another? When acquaintances (we won't call them "friends" - you don't have any friends who do this) forward on things that are clearly hoaxes. (let me check Snopes for you is the new let me Google that for you.) We're huge fans of primary sources and proper attribution, whether the line came out of an actual human's mouth or a piece of fiction. After all, "with great power comes great responsibility" (originally Voltaire, also, you know, originally in French).
The phrase "Give credit where credit is due" attributed to "Unknown" in white ink on a black, 100% cotton t-shirt.
