'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except for your mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that a-Mario soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their chairs, while visions of Donkey Kong barreled down from upstairs. And Mama in her corner, with laptop in lap, she'd just settled down for a long winter's Pac.

When out on the lawn there arose a loud grunt, it looked as if our neighbor was playing Duck Hunt. "Away from the windows," he called with concern. Bang, bang went his gun, "Now, Johnny, your turn!" It was getting late and the dog was asleep, "I think it's time we go to bed too, now don't make a peep." So sad we were, when we turned to see, that the Bros. had come and gone, presents under the tree. "He's quick, there's no doubt," Mama said, turning back to Punch-Out. It's just like him to swoop in with no one the wiser; it seemed we were all too busy to notice, playing games by the fire.
