Can we all just agree that coffee is the best caffeine delivery method, ever? Hooray! Coffee! There is, however, some disagreement over the best method for brewing coffee. There's espresso - forcing steam at high-pressure through ultra-fine grounds which results in intense flavor but mild caffeine. There's the vacuum method, which is spectacular, but is complex and fragile. Percolators over-extract, creating a bitter brew. Manual drip is fine, but you don't have good control over temperature and time.
No - the best possible method of brewing coffee is the pour-over method. Pouring almost boiling water over coffee grounds, steeping and draining. You can precisely measure the time the water stays in contact with the grounds, and the temperature of the water, resulting in perfect extraction. We've found the easiest method to make coffee in the pour-over method, and it's right here!
The Incred-a-brew Direct Immersion Coffee Maker is perfect for making a solo cup of delicious hot coffee. Simply scoop a your favorite grounds into the large BPA-free chamber, pour over preheated filtered water at 198 to 204 degrees Fahrenheit (just off the boil), and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on whether you like your coffee sweet and mild, or dark and strong. Then, just rest the brewer onto your favorite mug, and watch the patented release valve stream your fresh hot coffee through the filter, leaving the grounds behind, with no bitter sediment in your mug!
