Have a logical xmas

It's a wonder Santa has lasted so long, being a red shirt and all. We're willing to bet he hasn't. Here's our theory: Santa Claus is a title, much like The Dread Pirate Roberts. It passes down from year to year after one red-shirted Santa drinks a little too much nog and flips the sleigh somewhere over Nepal. This also explains why every time we see him at a mall, he looks a little different.

The original Santa could have gone another route and trained for Command or Science. Then he'd have a better chance of being around and not constantly in mortal peril. Maybe you can drop Santa a hint by leaving this Holiday Spock Hat by the cookies and milk this year? After all, jolly old elves and logical Vulcans both have pointy ears. It's not such a big change!
