There are three stages in life. In the first, you are forced to sleep, but DO NOT WANT. In the second, you want to sleep, but don't have the time. In the third, you want to sleep, you have all the time in the world, but you can't fall asleep. Your geekling is in the first stage. In a toddler's world, when they're awake, everyone else should be awake. This poses a problem when Mom and Dad - who are firmly in the second stage - are being roused by their geekling at the buttcrack of dawn. When teaching your child how to read a clock is out of the question, the GoodNite Lite steps in to save the day.
In order for the GoodNite Lite to work, your geekling only needs to know the difference between the Sun and Moon. (There are plenty of great children's books to help you there!) Program the GoodNite Lite with the desired times for bedtime and wake up time. The Moon shines brightly at night, dimming as your child drifts off to sleep. When the appropriate time to wake up arrives, the Moon changes to a smiling orange Sun. The included instruction book even gives a detailed method on how to use the GoodNite Lite to train your child to sleep longer. When the whole family is rested, everyone is happy!
