Rave at Bob's desk in 5

Fair warning: if you get this, you'll have to cancel all meetings at your desk, because no one will be able to pay attention to what you're saying. Then again, maybe it's the best way to give the higher-ups bad news.

*dissolve to scene*
You: Sales are down this quarter.
The Boss: Hmm. What? Did you say something?
*back to reality*

Click more than just your mouse with this futuristic take on a classic desk accessory. You already know that the mesmerizing, calming motion of this 5-ball cradle demonstrates science in action. It's the single most addicting way to demonstrate Newton's law of conservation of momentum and energy, which makes it a great teaching tool, in addition to being fun to watch. And now that we've equipped each frosted glass sphere with two LEDs, it's even more hypnotic. Lights react based on their position. Start a kinetic chain reaction with one ball and see how the others change color in response. Do two or three. Or one from each end. Go wild. Or for a more zen but still high-tech experience, set the LEDs to a single color and watch the light fade as they swing back and forth.
