Invented at ThinkGeek

That silicone wristband you're wearing. How does it function? You may respond that it doesn't, but actually it does something. It notifies observers about something you feel passionately about, right? Which, in this case, is video gaming. Watch Dogs, in particular.

But researchers from Oregon State discovered that the bracelets function as "personal chemical monitoring devices." Because they absorb chemicals in your environment much like you do, silicone wristbands can be studied in a lab to assess the level of contaminants in your personal environment. Right now, there's no "send us your wristband and we'll share your pollutants with you," so knowing it's possible doesn't do you much good unless you have access to a lab. But it seems only appropriate that something made for Watch Dogs is actually quietly monitoring you. Choose the game logo/Fox logo combination or Everything is under CTRL, wear it proudly, and save it for the day when you can send that thing to a lab for analysis.
