Play some baud-y music!

 Music Modem

In the olden days, before the wheel was invented, we connected our computers to each other using something called "dial up." Historians aren't sure anymore how this "dial up" worked, but they do know it produced a strange and screechy series of tones. And now these tunes have been harnessed and captured and are able to be played back into some semblance of music with the Music Modem.

The Music Modem is an interesting unit. It has eight buttons and two switches. One switch is the sound bank. Choose from classic modem, newer modem, or music sound banks. The first two give you 8 notes each of crazy modem sounds. The music sound bank activates the second switch, giving you 5 sets of tones set to a standard 8 note scale. So, the first two are mostly sounds, and the second allows you to play tunes. The Music Modem will annoy anyone around you with the nostalgia of having to try multiple times to connect to the World Wide Web. And it's a great addition to any musical arsenal dealing with retro sounds. Skreeeeeeeech-bee-duummmmm.
