Each NERF Vortex Disc Blaster is ready for action right out of the box. Just flick the switch to open the side loading magazine (shown in the pic above), load up the 5 discs, close the magazine . . . then lock and load. Just like the NERF Maverick is to NERF darts, the NERF Vortex Disc Blaster is THE disc-blasting side arm you want. It will be the core of your arsenal, and your blaster of choice for firing discs at your enemies (Hasbro says they will fire " ultra long distance" - we've measured them at over 40 feet).
