When Tiny Just Isn't Small Enough

Ok. We've seen some very mini MP3 players in our time. Take a look at the iPod Shuffle... it's been relegated to the size of a stick of gum. But then we saw this Micro Sport Japanese MP3 Player and our definition of "tiny" was forced to be revised. When you're looking for the bleeding edge of techno gadgets you need go no further. behind head The Micro Sport Player is two sugar cubes worth of electronics into which somehow is crammed 4GB of memory and a rechargeable battery. Amazingly this tiny player features full stereo sound. One earbud is attached directly to the side of the main unit, while the other earbud trails on a cord around the back of your head, just reaching the opposite ear.

Loading music is incredibly easy. Simply plug the Micro Sport into the USB port of your computer. It mounts like a USB thumb drive, and you simply copy over any MP3 files you want to play. When we realized that the Micro Sport MP3 Player was available only in Japan we knew that it was imperative that we import some units for our loyal micro-size gadget lovers here in the USA.

Important Note
The Micro Sport Japanese MP3 Player is imported from Japan which means that the directions are all in Japanese. It's pretty easy to figure things out, but here is our crash course translation just in case.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Copy MP3 files to the Micro Sport by connecting it to a computer with the included USB cable. You will see it mount as a USB hard drive. Simply copy the files over.
  • Charge the Micro Sport by connecting it to a computer with the included USB cable.
  • To turn on the device hold down the circular button on the side for 5 seconds. The blue LED will flicker and flash on and off when power is on.
  • To choose the next or previous track, push the small buttons on the top of the unit. One button is next, the other previous
  • To change the volume, push and hold down one of the small buttons on the top. The volume will change. Release your finger when the desired volume has been reached. One button is volume up, the other volume down.
  • To power off the Micro Sport hold down the circular button on the side for 5 seconds. The unit will stop playing and the blue LED will go out
