Predict your 8-bit future
We were led into a dusky room and told to sit. The chair was blocky and uncomfortable. We waited, noticing the lack of colors and rounded edges in the room; everything shared the same blocky look. Some unusual music began playing, slightly reminiscent of our childhood, and an old woman entered. She was also blocky looking, and began to tell our future with Tarot cards. She only spoke in sounds, but the white text in the black bar below her let us know what she was saying. The cards foretold one thing: we would share the practice of 8-bit fortune telling; we would sell 8-bit Tarot Cards.
And really, one look at the little beauties shows why: 8-bit art is frickin' awesome, and updating something really old with something else not as old (but still old) is fun too. Tarot cards have been around since the 1400's, and many folks all over the world believe in the power of cartomancy. And everyone loves 8-bit. You see? The world has been waiting for 8-bit Tarot Cards without really knowing it. It was prophesied they would come, and it just took artist Indigo Kelleigh to realize the prophecy. Perhaps you can use your 8-bit Tarot Cards and make sure the princess really is in the first castle you go to. The cards know.
