The Brain Game

The time of reckoning is upon us: the Zombie horde is approaching. You must rise above yourself and become a leader amongst humankind. You must grab your shotgun, your chainsaw, maybe a sandwich, some brains (aka "Zombie sandwich"), and stand up to the shambling undead masses. Oh, and you don't have to do this for real, you can do it on a tabletop as you play Zombie Fluxx - the game where the rules are constantly changing.

In the beginning, each player is dealt 3 cards and the only rule is "Draw 1 card; Play 1 card." There are 4 basic card types: Keepers (cards you place in front of you - things required to complete a Goal); Goals (specify the Keepers or conditions needed to win the game); Actions (um...actions to mess with game play); and Rules (new rules that replace, remove, or add to the rules already in play). There are also a horde of Zombie Creeper cards - these will prevent you from winning, unless you change the Rules or the Goal (or kill 'em).

Because that is the fun of Zombie Fluxx - you are constantly messing with the rules while battling your opponents and the undead. And if you're not careful, you might change them enough to let someone else win. AND, if you are insane, you can play the dreaded "Ungoal Card." If you play this card, everyone instantly loses and the Zombies win. It takes a lot of guts and a lack of brains to play the "Ungoal Card" - but then, isn't that what makes a Zombie a Zombie?

Zombie Fluxx Card Game

• The rules are constantly changing as you play this very "brainy" game.
• Some card examples:
  • Goal Card: "Brain Sandwich - You win if you have Brains and Sandwiches on the table, plus at least one Zombie."
  • Rule Card: "Zombie Jamboree" - All the Zombies gather in the center and then get redealt to each player.
  • Keeper: "Chainsaw" - You can use this card to win and also to chop up Zombie Creepers.
  • Action: ". . . and Stay Dead! - All Creeper cards in front of you are instantly placed on the discard pile . . . ."
  • Creeper: "Zombie Quartet" - Four Zombies to munch brains in front of you.
  • Ungoal Card: "Zombie Victory - If there are at least 5 Zombie Creeper cards on the table, and all players have at least 1, the game ends with no winner. (The Zombies win!)
• Includes: 100 cards and instructions
• For 2-6 players.
