The Most Powerful Sabres in the Known Universe
These days, it's pretty common to see someone wielding a saber. Every costume party and scifi convention's got some guy in a cloak carrying a plastic toy awkwardly over his shoulder. They all look the same - same hilt, same blade, same feel. It's a galaxy of sameness, far far away.
A real practitioner of the jedi-arts knows that your saber must be uniquely your own. Different than the standard rabble. Handmade, and special. We've recently made contact with Jeffrey Parks of Parks Sabers at the San Diego Comic Con, and he's agreed to supply ThinkGeek with special-made custom sabers.
These sabers are superior in construction and detailing. Each one is machined by hand to exacting standards. Unlike those other sabers, these are designed to have the blade removed, so you can carry the hilt on a belt-hook, always at the ready. Insert the blade, flick the power contact-switch, and the electro-luminescent lights illuminate the 40 inch virtually indestructible blade. Ever wanted to duel your friends? Now you can, without fear of breaking your saber. These are designed to take a fair beating.
Each piece is sold separately so you can get the custom design you've always wanted: order your favorite hilt, and order your favorite blade to go with it. Note that these custom sabers, while beautiful and durable, don't include speakers. So, while the illuminated blade looks great, you won't get the "voom-voom" that those toy sabers give you. A minor trade-off for a master of the arts.
