Be the king of your castle

Huzzah! You’ve been appointed to be the chief architect of the King’s new castle. He’s a bit of a control-freak, the King, and has sketched out on a roll of parchment the rough-shape he wants for the seat of power in this region. A tower here, a parapet there, and a wall over here. He’s not the design expert - you are, and you have to take his weirdo-designs and, using the materials you have available, build it. Solve the problem, and our Sovereign will be most pleased with your results, and could reward you with land, title, a coat-of-arms, and 3 goats.

The Castle Logix play set teaches kids spatial-relations and logic. Some of the castle-blocks fit in one way, some fit another, but only the right combination of blocks gets the design just right. Simple to learn, and easy enough to get started, but with enough challenge that even some adults would find entertaining and educational! As you progress, the designs get more and more elaborate. It’s so much fun, they won’t realize they’re learning. Stealth teaching’s fun!

As you child grows-up, a few of the more advanced puzzles will be challenging for you. Be careful! You might be competing with your kids for this game!
