Access Your Innards
Opens every major current console and handheld on the market!
Console game makers really give you a hard time when you try to open their goodies. I mean, you're only trying to install a fan, aftermarket heatsink, a light, or maybe perhaps a multi-prong emulator chip that bypasses the internal BIOS allowing for homebrew exploitation. What's wrong with that?
They certainly don't make it easy. It's not like the XBox 360 is held together with duct-tape and velcro, oh no! They made it so hard to get the cover off the thing, they had to invent a new tool to crack open the case. Besides that, you can't just use a straight-up phillips head screwdriver - you've got to dig out a special long-neck tamper-resistant torx bit. Good luck, dude.
Just 'cause you like to tinker doesn't mean you should be treated like a second-class citizen. So, it was with that in mind that we gathered all the tools necessary to disassemble every next-gen console out there (and a few old consoles, too). It's a one-stop-shop of toolness (is that even a word?) so you're not constantly lugging around a huge toolbox when you only need a few simple pieces. It's got everything you need. Check out the list below!
