Skynet becomes self-aware tomorrow... in the past

Talking about anniversaries in the Terminator franchise calls for verb tenses that don't exist in English, but we're going to take a stab at it anyway. It's now been 30 years since Sarah Connor (and we, ourselves) first learned about Judgment Day. Skynet would become self-aware at 2:14am ET August 29th, 1997. Fortunately, we don't have to celebrate the anniversary for that because the Resistance sent it an Arnold for its not-gonna-have-a-birthday party. And there are more movies after that, but - what's that? Over there! Ooh. Shiny new products? Let's go see....

Schrödinger's Cat Earring - Hang in there, kitten! Or... don't...

If your images were on you'd see Schrödinger's Cat Earring - Hang in there, kitten! Or... don't...

Earring observation is complicated, with your ears being on the side of your head and all. For most of us our peripheral vision is good but not that good. Perhaps evolution decided that if it was vital that you see something around your ear area, it was already too late. So for all you know, the cats dangling from these earrings might be in a state of indeterminacy while you're wearing them, right up until you remove them. Then you observe, and WHAM. Foiled by quantum superposition once again. These earrings feature little zinc cat charms, one live and one dead (or are they?). You'll have to tell us....

Beardo The Gnome - Not your garden-variety gnome

If your images were on you'd see Beardo The Gnome - Not your garden-variety gnome

With Beardo the Geeky Garden Gnome, it's hard to tell where the traditional gnome stops and the geek begins. For instance, is the facial hair a gnome thing or a shout-out to those with Dwarven proclivities? Is the cape because he's a gnome or is it his Cape of Cosplay + 1? Dunno. But unlike your traditional garden gnome, Beardo wields a sword in one hand and a d20 at his feet, and he's giving the Vulcan salute with the other hand. Pretty sure the gnomes we saw at Home Depot don't do that.

Star Wars Potato Heads - Brace yourself for the puns

If your images were on you'd see Star Wars Potato Heads - Brace yourself for the puns

The fate of the universe rests in the hands of Luke Frywalker and his homefries. Can Artoo Potatoo and Mashter Yoda, Luke's tuber in the ways of all things Jedi, face off against Darth Tater and his Spudtroopers? You can stage the epic battle between the Rebel Alliance and their starchenemies the Empire with these Star Wars Potato Heads. Choose Darth Vader, R2-D2, Stormtrooper, or Yoda, or get all four.

Two Gentlemen of Lebowski - The Knave abideth.

If your images were on you'd see Two Gentlemen of Lebowski - The Knave abideth.

Before Romeo, before Hamlet, before Richard III, there was a different dude in Shakespeare. The Knave, he was called, and he was a very laid back guy. He loved playing the pins with his friends Sir Walter and Sir Donald. And he had a rug that really tied the whole room together. Finally, after years of document tlopography scanning and redundantical reconstruction, we can offer you the text of the original play by William Shakespeare on which the movie "The Big Lebowski" was based. A five act play full of prose and iambic pentameter, "Two Gentlemen of Lebowski" is a true Shakespearean gem. Plus, it's got pictures and definitions, just like the Shakespeare books we had as kids!

DIY Mini Arcade Cabinet - Some assembly required

If your images were on you'd see DIY Mini Arcade Cabinet - Some assembly required

Relive those golden days spent in the arcade by creating the most adorable MAME cabinet in the known universe: the Cupcade. Brought to us by those geniuses at Adafruit, the Cupcade is a Raspberry Pi-powered micro arcade cabinet kit, perfect for bringing gaming to the top shelf of your locker, the tiniest of dorm rooms, or your desk at work. What can you play on it? Well, what ROMs can you load on that SD card? Note that this is a kit. You want to be comfortable with soldering and coding before you dive in.

BoomCo Clip Fire Blaster - Always at hand.

If your images were on you'd see BoomCo Clip Fire Blaster - Always at hand.

The ClipFire Blaster is small in size but powerful in nature. It's a single shot blaster which propels its payload of Smart Stick darts up to 60 feet. Of course, there's the fantastic tech which makes Smart Stick darts only stick to Targets and Shields, but that's not the main reason to love the ClipFire. The main reason is this blaster's extreme portability; the handle folds flush and the plunger has a clip to attach to whatever loop you have on you. The ClipFire will always be there when you need it, which makes it perfect for offices prone to dart-related ambushes. With a few ClipFires on your belt loops, you'll never be caught unarmed again!

Star Wars Ship Replica Keychains - For your space keys

If your images were on you'd see Star Wars Ship Replica Keychains - For your space keys

Without the ships of Star Wars, the movies would never have been the hits they were. It would have just been a lot of people sitting around talking about blowing up planets and exploiting thermal exhaust ports and traps you couldn't see. They would have been as much fun as a plot about trade disputes or something. But, lucky for all of us, Star Wars was filled with awesome space ships. And now some of our favorites have been en-shrink-erated into these metal keychains. Made of solid steel alloy and crafted using the digital files from the films, these ships will ensure you never lose your keys again (because you'll never want to lose these keychains)! Is that a little Star Wars in your pocket?
