Tesla-tastic!

Without Nikola Tesla, Angus Young's band would have a different name. Without Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk's car-of-the-future would need a new moniker. And without Nikola Tesla, electrical resonant transformer circuits would be harder to work into poems (Tesla Coil is just so rhythmically concise). So let's all say a belated thank you to Mrs. Tesla (Nikola's momma) who brought him into this world 158 years ago today. Thanks, Mrs. Tesla!

Zombie Hand Wine Bottle Holder - Terroir of terror

If your images were on you'd see Zombie Hand Wine Bottle Holder - Terroir of terror

Two things best stored underground: dead bodies and wine. Now most wine underground is stored in an actual wine cellar, but there's no reason you couldn't put it 6 feet under. And then, in case of zombie apocalypse your wine will resurface along with whomever you've got buried there, and y'all can have a lovely drink together. Set out this Zombie Hand Wine Bottle Holder the next time you have an intimate get-together or a party. From what we can tell, it should fit most bottles, and is guaranteed to liven-up any gathering.

Guardians Of The Galaxy 6" Figures - Build-a-Groot

If your images were on you'd see Guardians Of The Galaxy 6 inch Figures - Build-a-Groot

GotG is poised to be one of the biggest movies this summer. At least, it'll probably be the only one with a talking raccoon and tree. With each trailer and teaser we see, we grow more and more excited about this ragtag group of weirdos (our favorite type of group) fighting to save the galaxy. And now we have this set of action figures to recreate scenes from the trailers (and, once it's out, the movie) on our desk. There's Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Nova (comic-inspired version), and Iron Man (comic-inspired versions). Each one comes with a piece of the missing Guardian; buy them all, and you can build Groot. Iron Man is in this wave of figures... is that a spoiler?

New Manga Collections - Massive Boxed Sets

If your images were on you'd see New Manga Collections - Massive Boxed Sets

Some stories involve special books. Some involve magic ocarinas. And some involve metal or stretchy bodies. But one thing is common amongst all these stories: they all make really great manga. And have we got some manga for you! Four massive boxed sets: Fullmetal Alchemist Manga Ultimate Boxed Set, One Piece Ultimate Manga Boxed Set, Legend of Zelda Ultimate Manga Box Set, and Death Note Boxed Set. Together, they compose almost 19,000 pages of enjoyment, enlightenment, and entertainment. And since they are boxed sets, you get extras like bonus volumes, posters, and/or neato carrying/display packaging. Why go hunting for missing volumes when you can get the whole series in one easy set?

Portal 2 Atlas and P-Body Figures - Please wave to your partner.

If your images were on you'd see Portal 2 Atlas and P-Body Figures - Please wave to your partner.

These two action figures are must haves for fans of Portal 2, specifically the co-op missions. Each is made in 7" scale with loads of articulation. Plus, their eyes light up, as do their Portal Guns! Atlas' eye glows a nice blue and features a unique main body articulation with integrated on/off switch. P-Body is a little more svelte and has an orange eye. And they both have articulated thumbs to help them hold their Portal Guns better (and for hitchhiking away, if GLaDOS would ever let them out of the facility). Together, these two will at least attempt to master anything you throw at them. Atlas and P-Body are quite the team. In the words of GLaDOS, "While teamwork is needed to complete these tests, I am not sure I trust the two of you together."

Shark Plush - We're gonna need a bigger warehouse

If your images were on you'd see Shark Plush - We're gonna need a bigger warehouse

It's taken us a while to find a shark plush that we thought was worthy of ThinkGeek. Not just any old stuffed animal, this 16" long Great White Shark Plush comes with realistic details and accurate body and fin shaping. Our favorite bit is probably the teeth, multiple rows of them for a grand total of 68, which is pretty impressive for a plush whose mouth is only 2 1/2" across. (And, yes, we counted for you.) Buy two and fling them into the air to create your own, realistic Sharnado of Plush Terror.

Sprout Growing Pencils - Your nubs can grow plants!

If your images were on you'd see Sprout Growing Pencils - Your nubs can grow plants!

We have a desk drawer full of well-loved and trustworthy pencils of old. Nubs that are too small to actually sharpen and use, but who have earned a place in our hearts for the words they've scribbled and the drawings they've doodled. If those pencils had been Sprout Growing Pencils, we'd have a use for them. Sprout Pencils have seeds in their end (instead of erasers). So, when they get to the nub phase, just bury them in dirt point up. And water them. And get them sunlight. And sing to them. Eventually, you'll have herbs or flowers (whichever set of Sprouts you choose) - or a beautiful garden of both. Pencils help you grow words; time to reward them by growing plants!

Star Trek Mirror Mirror Beach Towel - For fun/evil in the sun

If your images were on you'd see Star Trek Mirror Mirror Beach Towel - For fun/evil in the sun

We don't really know what the beach is like in the mirror universe. We're pretty sure all the sand is too cold and the water is too hot and the crabs all have goatees (and are really mean). The mirror universe isn't a very fun one. So, if you end up there, at least you can make it a little more comfortable with this Star Trek "Mirror, Mirror" Beach Towel. Featuring all new, yet retro-looking, artwork by Juan Ortiz, this beach towel is perfect for whichever one you are: the good one or the evil alternate universe version. Or, if you're evil in this universe, the nice one from the alternate universe. It's all so confusing sometimes. That's why, when you are thinking about alternate realities all day, it's good to unwind at the beach. And this towel is up for the job!
