T-Shirts & Apparel Geek Toys Electronics Gadgets Computer Stuff Caffeine & Edibles What's New OMGWTFUN! Clearance

Dear overgrown zygotes,

Years and years ago, two people who loved each other very much made you. Our musical friends Paul & Storm remind us that our Moms gave us life, love, a home, food, and clothing and in return, we gave her stretch marks and extra weight that never quite went away. It's time to rectify this imbalance, and we're here to help.

No matter what your Mom likes, we have the perfect Mother's Day gift--even if your Mom isn't a geek, which is darn near impossible considering how geeky YOU are, friend.

$10 off your $40+ order through 4/30/10 with code GEEKMOM!

What's New @ ThinkGeek !!

Geek Tested, Mom Approved - Mother's Day is May 9th!

Assuming you're not awfully glad to be a Beta, you probably have a mother who deserves an awesome gift for Mother's Day. We're stocked full of all sorts of gizmos, gadgets, and doo-dads that your maternal figure will love. We have shirts Mom can wear, umbrellas to keep her dry, brownie pans so she can love you with food, and tons of gifts for new Moms and their geek babies. You can even get Mom a pair of Onion Goggles so she doesn't cry in the kitchen; unless, of course, she's crying because you're such a disappointment.

Civet Crap Choice Coffee - The butt makes it taste better

Sometimes the truth is funnier and/or stranger than fiction, and that certainly is the case with this coffee. The rarest in the world, Civet Crap Choice Coffee actually does pass all the way through a Civet Cat before plopping into your cup. Something inside the little beastie helps the coffee beans ferment a little, which give this coffee a delicate, unique, and delicious flavor. It has to be tasted to be believed--and once tasted, you'll be hooked. Who knew a Civet Cat's butt could yield such a tasty beverage?

Mr Bento Stainless Steel Lunch Jar - Coolest. Lunchbox. Ever.

If your images were on you'd see Mr Bento Stainless Steel Lunch Jar - Coolest. Lunchbox. Ever.

Miss the days when you and your lunchbox were the envy of the cafeteria? We do, too, which is why we had to bring you the Bento Lunch Box. It's a stainless steel lunch jar that contains four microwaveable inner bowls and a spork. It even comes in an easy-to-carry bag so you can tote your food out to the picnic tables to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. The food in your lunchbox will maintain its temperature--hot or cold--up to 6 hours, so you don't have to fret if you forget to throw it in the fridge in the morning.

Hozuki LED Candle Lantern - Camp in style

Nature is often the easiest source of inspiration for invention. Look at the beautiful hozuki plant with its unusual (and colorful) papery-covered fruit. Because of this, it is sometimes called a Japanese or Chinese Lantern plant due the fruit's resemblance to a paper lantern. Evolve this idea through technology, and you get the Hozuki LED Candle Lantern. Illuminated by 4 dimmable LEDs, this light also has a secret: flicker mode. That's right, it will respond to wind and flicker like a candle (even temporarily blow out). And why? Well, sometimes you just need to bring a little beauty into your life.

MyPressi Portable Espresso Maker - More consistent espresso

If your images were on you'd see MyPressi Portable Espresso Maker - More consistent espresso

Good espresso must necessarily come from exacting standards--temperature, grind, and pressure. Portable handheld espresso pumps, though, usually lack consistency in pressure which results in a lackluster brew. Not MyPressi! It's like a magic wand for coffee! Using included Nitrous canisters, it puts out a constant 135psi forcing the hot water through the grounds, or ESE pod. Now you've got a perfect pull with excellent crema wherever you can boil water. Enjoy your new caffeine fix. You can thank us later!

Fifty Dangerous Things You Should Let Your Children Do

We grew up licking batteries, going dumpster diving, and super gluing ourselves to ourselves--why aren't your kids doing it too? Don't tell us that you're making your geekling bathe in hand sanitizer and wear a helmet while riding in a car! We weep for humanity, we do. Which is why we had to bring you this book. It contains activities like going underground, skills like spear-throwing, projects like melting glass, and experiences like tasting electricity. Sure, "dangerous" things, but not deadly. Knowledge and mastery of skills are what minimizes danger--so go on, learn something cool with your kid.

Spring is in the Air - Color us inspired

If your images were on you'd see Spring is in the Air - Color us inspired

It's spring here at ThinkGeek HQ, and with nice weather comes many things: lunch at our favorite Thai place with outdoor seating, birds returning that have apparently spent the winter learning to mimic car alarms, and flowering plants in all sorts of vibrant colors, much like our shirt selection this week. There is only one black shirt in the mix this week, and it told us that since it's glow in the dark, it actually qualifies as a pale green. Whatever, talking shirt. Besides that one black, we have grey, chocolate brown, blue, red, and two different shades of yellow. Star Wars, Iron Man 2, Doctor Who, Serenity... you'll have to click to see what new goodies we have for your closet.

Star Trek TOS T-Shirt Mini Skirt - Not all redshirts are XY

Gene Roddenberry envisioned a future where men and women of all races and nationalities could serve side-by-side on a starship without discrimination. So why is it ThinkGeek only carries t-shirt tunics in men's sizes? No longer! Nyota Uhura's iconic Operations-red miniskirt now has equal billing on our store shelves. 100% cotton with flex-and-flock insignia, you'll be ready for cosplay, conventions, or just wearing around the office. Guaranteed to get Trekkers talking. Hailing-frequencies open!

Grow Your Own Plants for Pets - Gardening for Fido

If your images were on you'd see Grow Your Own Plants for Pets - Gardening for Fido

Here's a secret: the one thing your dog would like more than anything else in the world is a garden to call her own. Not a plot of land to pee on, but a special place to grow a patch of grass. Of course she'd eat the grass once grown, but that would be a circle of life sort of thing. Oh, and your cat? Your cat just wants you to grow some catnip so he can get stoned. Circle of... um... something. And you know what else is something? These two plant kits. Give your pets what they want--a little garden just for them. And the munchies.

Interactive Intelligence Games for Dogs - Is your dog S-M-R-T?

Everyone likes to claim their dog is smarter than the average Homer, but how exactly does one PROVE IT? Sure, your dog is trained and well-behaved and can even bark the number of fingers you're holding up, but can he solve a puzzle? Check out our three Interactive Intelligence Games for Dogs, the Twister, the Magic, and the Tornado. Each one hides treats that can only be accessed if your pooch can do the right sequence of moves. Can your dog prove he's the smartest one on the block?

Retro Atari Glasses - Make your favorite pastime even better

If your images were on you'd see Retro Atari Glasses - Make your favorite pastime even better

Relive the best days of your life--the days when pure joy was just a high score away and you could save the world for a mere twenty-five cents. These Atari glasses feature artwork from your favorite classic Atari games. Drink your orange juice at breakfast with Asteroids, and then throw back a couple brews with your Player 2 in the evening with Tempest and Missile Command. It may not be the old days, but life is still pretty damn good. Choose from a set of pint glasses or shot glasses... either will help you recapture that retro gaming nostalgia.

Video Swim Mask - Only mask with integrated waterproof camera

If you thought walking, chewing gum, and texting was hard, try swimming and using an underwater camera. For starters, we humans aren't designed to easily move about underwater. It takes both legs and both arms and preferably some flippers on our feet. When one or both hands has to grip a camera, we're as good as shark bait. Strap this baby to your head and you can snap pics and take video footage hands-free. The goggles even have integrated crosshairs so you can line up your shots perfectly.

Those of us living in the basement of the ThinkGeek tower are HUGE nerds for Doctor Who. We're so excited about the new season that we've compiled all of the schweetest Doctor Who merch we stock into one easy-to-navigate category. Brilliant. We've also added a few new goodies to the mix, like the The Sonic Screwdriver of the 11th Doctor, The TARDIS Cookie Jar, and the 11th Doctor Crash 2-pack. And don't forget classics like the TARDIS USB Hub and our tasty Doctor Who swag...

Gifts for Grads - Congratulations, newly educated!

May is also the beginning of graduation season and our newest crop of college graduates is about to toss their hats and run screaming into the workplace. They're all adorable and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, much like squirrels. And what they need most are new toys and gadgets to bring with them into their brand new cubicles, so they can feel like they've built a little nest full of their favorite geeky things. Soon they will be mindless corporate drones, but for now, celebrate how cute and optimistic they are with these gifts.

Dear Timmy

Timmy the Monkey, our mascot and simian sage, is a fount of wisdom. There's no question he can't answer and he's willing to put his intellect to the test. Here's his latest answer:

Dear Timmy,

Where does the light go when I flip the switch off?

-- @Stuart_Hobbs from Twitterverse

Dear Stuart,

It gets sucked back up into the tubes of course! You see, just like voltage, which pushes electrical current through a wire, light is used on the Interwebs to push around all of our email and tweets and cat pictures via fiber optic cables. This is also why the Web is always so much slower at night... more lights on in your house means less bandwidth for you!

-- Timmy

Submit your own Dear Timmy for great justice!
