BLURGH! The ThinkGeek Blog... Grok It!

November 2013 Archives

Next up: Middle-earth

First, the world; then, Middle-earth.

World domination. It's happening.

Slowly, but surely, Timmy is taking over the world. Our monkeys have been hard at work on trying to expand the list of countries we can ship to, and finally, it's happening: We are now able to ship to Spain & Singapore!

That's not all, though. We now deliver to Bosnia, Herzegovina, and Serbia as well. The shipping options available to these new folks will be DHL Express & UPS Express. Of course, we do hope to add more shipping options in the future! You can learn more about these shipping methods on our Shipping page. As always, please be aware that customs fees may be charged upon delivery and required to obtain your order. These are not under our control, so please contact your local customs office if you need to know more!

If you're upset that your country isn't included on our list yet, fret not! Our monkeys will continue to work hard to expand the list & hopefully one day, take over the world.

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary

Where will you be watching the Day of the Doctor?

DW in a theater near you!

Did you manage to nab tickets to a 3D screening at your local movie theater? If you're a local-to-us-geek, we hope you picked up tickets for the showings at Fairfax Corner!

If you are one of those lucky Whovians, hop in your TARDIS & come meet us at Fairfax Corner on Saturday, November 23 at 12:30pm ET for your chance to win prizes!

We'll be holding a small raffle at the center of Fairfax Corner, near the fountain. Find the humans sporting Timmy stickers, and we'll give you a raffle ticket for your chance to win Doctor Who goodies, like the 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Exclusive Programmable TV Remote. If you're in cosplay, you'll get two raffle tickets, so dress up, folks. We'll conduct the drawing at 1pm (or before crowd control breaks us up), so come out, say hello, grab a raffle ticket, and get a picture with Timmy!

Even if you weren't able to grab a screening ticket, we hope you'll stop by! For those of you who can't make it, what are your party plans for watching the anniversary special?
