Cast your mind back--back into the dim past before Sandy and Halloween.
On September 28, 2012, The Ladies of Ragnarok came to visit ThinkGeek at Jammin Java in Vienna, Virginia, and it was epic.
With 200 guests and an actual sound system, the Mollyclicks show was our first go at hosting a big event in a space that wasn't ThinkGeek HQ. Between The Doubleclicks, Molly Lewis, Marian Call, and the best crowd ever, we all had a great time--even a chestburster who surprised an on-stage contestant, some tribbles which were thrown at the crowd early on, and two Balloonicorns that watched over the stage benevolently.
If you were there, you'll likely remember The Doubleclicks' laugh-out-loud set, Molly really enjoying an inflatable captain's chair, and Marian's rousing rendition of "Jayne's Song."
You'll also remember beards--how useful, wonderful, and important they are.
So important, in fact, that we asked everyone in the audience to record video of "Beards" from wherever they were in the audience, and to upload and tag it so we could find it later. Today, we are pleased to present a crowdsourced, multi-perspective, slightly wobbly view of this magical chin fringe moment:
Thanks, Ladies, for letting us be a part of the night, thanks to Jammin Java for being a great venue, and thanks especially to the audience, who sold out the show in a week and were gracious, funny, and an attentive crowd. We hope to do something like this again soon, and we look forward to seeing you there!
