All of the lovely knitters and crocheters who attended our Knit & Crochet Night, November 16.

And that's a wrap!

On Friday, November 16th, we hosted our very own Knit & Crochet Night. A handful of local geeks gathered together at our office to give worship to the Yarn Gods... we mean, uh, do arts and crafts and such! We think it went rather swimmingly.

Upon their arrival, our crafters brought with them generous donations of handmade goodies for Knitters and Crocheters Care, a local charity that provides those in need with warm winter ware. A bagful of awesomeness was donated to them that night, and that's all thanks to those who attended!

After all the formalities and an epic tour of ThinkGeek HQ, much merriment and good times ensued. We discussed our different knitting and crocheting skill builds and the best way to cast off our needles. Many of the crafters brought their current projects with them, which ranged from baby blankets with Link to Totoro mittens! Everyone had something great to share. When our stomachs started rumbling and the conversation took a philosophical turn, we asked the pizza man for the meaning of life - his response was in the bill: Check #42.

The night ended with raffles and prizes, which included a Wampa Ice Scraper, Furry Adventure Slippers, and also Angry Birds for everyone! Needless to say, we think this event was a hit; thanks again to all the craftsy folk who attended - we hope you had as great a time as we did! And stay tuned - we hope to do something like this again in the future!
